Principal's Message

Hello Illahee Families,

Our first week of school in 2025 was a success!  Students transitioned back to school well last week and are already off to a great start this week.  Thank you for help in reestablishing strong routines at home to help students be well rested and ready for full days of learning while at school.

The pace picks up this week as we start our mid-year iReady testing for Reading.  In addition, students are working hard to wrap up assessments and projects as we prepare for the end of Semester 1.  It's hard to believe we are almost half-way through the year!  If your student needs extra help with a class or has assessments to make up, our Royal Learning Lab is available to all students after school on Tuesdays - Thursdays from 2:35 - 4:15 pm.  Students that ride a bus have access to an after school bus or they can be picked up in our parent pick up loop.  

We will celebrate our Season 2 scholar athletes and Royals of the Month this week, as well.  This Friday, 1/17 is our Hallway Spirit Parade and each day this week is a different spirit day.
