SMARTIE Goal #1 (MATH)

Increase the percentage of scholars scoring proficient or above on the Math SBA from 17% to 27%, with Black scholars and scholars with IEPs improving at least 15% as compared to the end of the 2025-26 academic year. By May 2026, 80% of scholars will meet their typical growth goal and 40% of scholars will meet their annual stretch growth in Math as measured by the iReady diagnostic. ​

SMARTIE Goal #2 (ELA)

Increase the percentage of scholars scoring proficient or above on the ELA SBA from 33% to 43%, with Black scholars and scholars with IEPs improving at least 15% as compared to the end of the 2025-26 academic year.  By May 2026, 80% of scholars will meet their typical growth goal and 50% of scholars will meet their annual stretch growth in Reading as measured by the iReady diagnostic. ​​

SMARTIE Goal #3 (Whole Child)

By May 2026, the number of scholars who have not experienced exclusionary discipline will increase from 90% to 95% for all scholars. Black scholars will increase from 77% to 90%, and scholars with IEPs will increase from 82% to 90%.

Elevate scholar voice and ownership by integrating scholar knowledge, culture, experience, and feedback into school planning, instruction/projects, assessments, and classroom norms
